The Aboitiz Football Cup (AFC), the Philippines’ longest-running grassroots football tournament, celebrates its 25th year with the official launch of its Luzon regional festivals at Biz Hub in LIMA Estate, Batangas. The event gathered young athletes, families, and football enthusiasts in a shared celebration of sport, community, and passion.
Following the successful opening of its silver anniversary season in Cebu, the Luzon leg—organized by Aboitiz Economic Estates—continues to broaden the tournament’s reach nationwide, with simultaneous legs in Batangas and Tarlac.
The Batangas leg will be held at the Aboitiz Pitch, South Luzon’s largest artificial turf and a premier football venue within LIMA Estate. Matches are set every weekend from November 22 to December 13, 2025. Meanwhile, the Tarlac leg will take place at Don Bosco Tarlac on November 29–30, located near TARI Estate, Aboitiz Economic Estates’ emerging industrial hub in Central Luzon—home to global manufacturers such as Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines and Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation.
For the past 25 years, the Aboitiz Football Cup has served as a platform for young athletes to develop both skill and character, promoting the values of discipline, teamwork, and respect that go beyond the game itself. Through its annual football clinic, children from host communities gain access to professional coaching, helping build confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship at an early age.
Beyond the competition, the Aboitiz Pitch at LIMA Estate has evolved into a dynamic community hub, hosting sports festivals, school tournaments, and family-friendly events that bring together residents, visitors, and nearby institutions. This initiative reflects Aboitiz Economic Estates’ vision of creating communities where people can work, live, and thrive through meaningful engagement.
In line with the Aboitiz Group’s commitment to sustainability, this year’s tournament also continues its Wasteless Campaign, promoting responsible waste management and recycling among players and spectators throughout the competition.
Celebrating its 25th milestone, the Aboitiz Football Cup remains steadfast in its mission to inspire champions on and off the field—proving that true victory lies not just in winning games, but in building stronger, more united communities through sport.
