CARD Indogrosir Inc., the grocery distribution arm of CARD MRI in partnership with Indonesia’s Salim Group, has opened its 100th branch in Trece Martires, Cavite, as part of its continuing efforts to help sari-sari store owners and other microentrepreneurs compete in a growing retail market.
The milestone branch officially opened on July 31, 2026, at Lot 3341 D-2-E, Marcius Avenue, Barangay Lapidario, Trece Martires.
Strategically located in the city, the new branch is expected to serve more than 2,000 sari-sari store owners and other local businesses, providing access to wholesale products at competitive prices.
As convenience stores, supermarkets, and shopping marts continue to expand across communities, CARD Indogrosir aims to give small neighborhood retailers an opportunity to maintain their competitiveness through affordable and accessible inventory.

“Sari-sari stores remain the heartbeat of the Filipino neighborhood,” said CARD Indogrosir Executive Vice President Frederick Nicasio Torres. “We have supported them for a long time, and we will continue doing so because they are the backbone of local economies. They sustain the communities around them.”
Digital ordering and doorstep delivery
Beyond physical stores, CARD Indogrosir also provides digital ordering and direct-to-doorstep delivery through the CARD Ottokonek app, allowing store owners to replenish their stocks without having to travel to a branch.
CARD Indogrosir Business Development Head Jeffrey Rilles said the opening of the 100th branch reflects the company’s continued response to the needs of microentrepreneurs.
“Reaching our 100th branch in just three years allows us to respond more deeply to the needs of local microentrepreneurs,” Rilles said.
He added that supporting sari-sari stores, mobile vendors, and local food carts can help strengthen communities and build more resilient local economies.
Financial support for small businesses
CARD MRI also provides financial services designed to give microentrepreneurs access to capital and business loans, complementing CARD Indogrosir’s distribution services.
The combination of affordable inventory and access to financing is intended to help small retailers expand their businesses and remain competitive against larger retail chains.
The 100th branch opening was led by Torres, Distribution Center Head Pak Sayed Maksalmina, and CARD Ottokonek General Manager and Business Development Head Jeffrey Rilles.
Also present during the milestone event were CARD MRI Managing Director Aristeo A. Dequito, Trece Martires Mayor Gemma Lubigan, and representatives from the local government.
Buy 1 Take 1 deals, Zumba and raffle activities
To mark the opening, CARD Indogrosir offered Buy 1 Take 1 deals on selected products, along with free product tastings and other promotional activities.
The celebration also featured Zumba dancing and an afternoon caravan of raffle games for customers and members of the community.
From one store to 100 branches
CARD Indogrosir opened its pioneer store in San Rafael, San Pablo City, Laguna, in 2023. In just three years, the company has expanded its presence across CALABARZON, the Bicol Region, and Oriental Mindoro.
Its 100th branch in Trece Martires is open to walk-in wholesale shoppers and the general public, providing local sari-sari store owners, mobile vendors, food businesses, and households with another accessible source of grocery products.
The opening marks another step in CARD Indogrosir’s push to strengthen the role of small retailers in local communities while expanding its wholesale distribution network across the Philippines.
