The Biñan City Government, through the Youth and Sports Development Office (YASDO), along with GoodGovPH and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on August 11 for the Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan Awards and Recognition (OSKAR).
The OSKAR aims to promote excellence in youth governance and public service, strengthen youth participation in governance, and recognize Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) councils that demonstrate effective, meaningful, and responsible service to the community.
Through the partnership, the organizations seek to strengthen the culture of good governance and youth leadership among young people in Biñan City.
The initiative is expected to provide recognition to SK councils that demonstrate good governance practices and meaningful contributions to their communities.
