BIÑAN CITY, LAGUNA — The University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) is marking its 50th anniversary in 2026, highlighting five decades of providing education, healthcare and character formation to Filipino families.
The golden anniversary celebration at the university’s flagship campus in Biñan City, Laguna, looks back on UPHSL’s development over the past half-century while outlining its plans for the next chapter of the institution.
According to the university’s anniversary media interview brief, UPHSL has set a five-year ambition to double the number of students it serves and expand into markets where it is not yet present.
The university’s founding principle, “Character Building is Nation Building,” remains at the center of its educational mission as it enters its sixth decade.
The anniversary also highlights the institution’s programs and their contributions to Filipino families and communities, alongside its growing international reach.
After five decades of development from its local roots, UPHSL is looking toward further expansion and wider engagement in education and other areas of service.
The university’s 50th anniversary serves as both a reflection on its legacy and a look ahead to its plans for the coming years, with a focus on growth, innovation and broader service to Filipino families.
As UPHSL begins its next 50 years, the institution is positioning its golden anniversary as the start of another chapter in its continuing commitment to education, healthcare and character formation.
