The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the start of toll collection for Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Subsection 3, covering the stretch from the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite, beginning August 9, 2026.
The 7.88-kilometer segment has been toll-free for three months since it opened on May 4, 2026. During this period, nearly 9,000 motorists per day used the new section, providing an alternative route for residents, workers, students, and businesses in Cavite.

Starting August 9, motorists traveling from the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange to Governor’s Drive will pay the following toll rates:
- Class 1: ₱35
- Class 2: ₱70
- Class 3: ₱106
For motorists traveling from Governor’s Drive in General Trias, Cavite, to Greenfield in Laguna, the applicable toll rates are:
- Class 1: ₱117
- Class 2: ₱234
- Class 3: ₱351

The opening of Subsection 3 increased the operational length of CALAX to 26 kilometers, starting from the Greenfield-Mamplasan Entry in Biñan, Laguna.
The new segment was built to provide a faster alternative route and help ease congestion along heavily traveled local roads in Cavite’s growing industrial and residential areas.
Once fully completed, the CALAX network is projected to accommodate up to 65,000 vehicles per day, strengthening connectivity and supporting the movement of people, goods, and services across Cavite, Laguna, and Southern Metro Manila.
CALAX is a major infrastructure project aimed at reducing travel time, easing traffic congestion, and supporting economic growth in the region.
